Conveniently located near the airport, this restaurant offers a delightful experience of authentic Indian cuisine.

Konark Indian Restaurant is situated in the Bole area, making it easily accessible and a great place to visit if you're near the airport. The interior of the restaurant is a blend of classic and modern design, creating a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere. The walls are adorned with beautiful artwork, and the tables and chairs are comfortable and stylish. The staff are very attentive, frequently checking if the food suits your taste and ensuring you have a pleasant dining experience.


What I Ate

During my visit, I ordered several dishes that showcased the authentic flavors of Indian cuisine:

  • Sweet Lassi: The lassi comes in two options – sweet and unsweetened. I opted for the sweet lassi, but it was not as sweet as I expected. If you prefer a sweeter lassi, I recommend asking them to make it extra sweet.


  • Chicken Tikka Masala: This dish was incredibly flavorful and spicy, with a truly authentic taste. The large pieces of chicken were juicy and perfectly grilled, adding a delightful smokiness to the dish. The tomato-based sauce was rich and well-balanced with spices. I highly recommend it.


  • Cheese Naan: While the cheese flavor was subtle, the naan was well-cooked and delicious. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making it a perfect companion to the Chicken Tikka Masala.


My Thoughts

The food at Konark Indian Restaurant was exceptional. The Chicken Tikka Masala stood out with its rich, spicy flavors and juicy, well-cooked chicken pieces. The Cheese Naan, though not very cheesy, was still a great accompaniment to the meal. The Sweet Lassi was refreshing, but I would suggest requesting a bit more sweetness if that’s your preference.

The restaurant’s interior combines classic and modern elements, creating a welcoming and stylish environment. The attentive staff made sure we were well taken care of, frequently asking if the food was to our liking. The table service was prompt, and the food was served at the perfect temperature. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience.

One of the standout features of Konark Indian Restaurant is its diverse menu. Whether you're a vegetarian or a meat lover, there's something for everyone. The variety of curries is impressive, each with its unique blend of spices. The tandoori dishes and biryanis are also highly recommended.
